Dear Friends in Christ,

A Christmas Update from Michael House Pregnancy Care Centre

See "A Christmas Update from Michael House Pregnancy Care Centre" here. Below are some highlights.

Kelly's Journey

Just over a year ago, Kelly* was lost when her caregiver, her beloved grandmother, passed away at a young age. Kelly was pregnant, unsure of her future and considering abortion. After a cousin told her about Michael House, Kelly applied and moved in one week later. It was here that Kelly found the support she needed. She found hope.

Take the Gifts with Vision challenge!

Moderator Jordan Cantwell has a new challenge for this year’s Gifts with Visioncampaign. She’s hoping everyone connected with The United Church of Canada will give a Gift with Vision.

Bread Donations for Chalmers

Hello Church Partners,

It's looking like we're getting a little low on bread donations of late here at Chalmers. I'm wondering, if you're putting out a little note to your congregants or putting a note on social media or you're making an announcement at church on Sunday, if you wouldn't mind just mentioning that we'd be happy to take donations of bread here over the next little bit.

People can give me a call if they wish to ask questions or arrange a donation drop-off: (519) 822-8778.

Thanking you,

Baking Workshop

Cheryl McLean will be hosting a baking workshop in preparation for the bazaar. The baking will take place at 17 Victoria Street, Morriston, on Friday, November 11, 2016. Feel free to stop by anytime between 8am to 8pm. You do not require to have any baking skills to attend as there are many jobs that need to be completed, like wrapping and labelling.

It is a great opportunity to socialize, have fun, and ensure our bake tables are well stocked for the bazaar!
