National Volunteer Week

United Church Members Are Being Asked to Sign a Pledge for Medicare

Toronto: For 60 years The United Church of Canada has advocated in support of universal health care. Now the church is calling on its members to sign the Medicare Pledge launched by the Canadian Health Coalition, a public advocacy organization dedicated to the preservation and improvement of Medicare.

Senior's Spring Pot Luck Luncheon

Youth Group Event at Crieff Hills - December 1st 2013

Greetings from Crieff Hills Retreat and Conference Centre!

We realize this is short notice but the opportunity and the idea came together quickly so this is your invitation.  We are hoping that this will lead to regular events when youth can meet with other youth in their area from theirs and other denominations. 

Annual Christmas Parade

The Puslinch Optimist Club is presenting the Annual Christmas Parade on Sunday November 24 @ 2 pm.  This year our theme is "Fun".  We are looking for a variety of participants to make this year's parade another success!  Parade route - Township Office on Wellington Road 34, east to Brock Road (Wellington Road 46), south to Maple Leaf Lane, then into the Community Centre grounds where Santa will greet the children.  Please call John Alexander 519-826-5750or Sally Whittle 519-763-0202 to confirm your participation.  

21st Annual Christmas Carols by Candlelight Concert

The Alzheimer Society of Guelph-Wellington is now selling tickets for our 21st annual Christmas Carols by Candlelight concert, featuring the Centre Wellington Singers. There will also be a chance to win some great raffle prizes at this event. The date this year is Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, starting at 7:30pm. Please see the attached poster for more information. We ask that you consider displaying this poster at your location to encourage your congregation to attend this lovely evening. All funds raised go to the Alzheimer Society of Guelph-Wellington.

Harvest & Holly Bazaar & Lunch Saturday, November 9th – 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Puslinch Community Centre with lots of free parking.  Meet a friend for lunch.  Stock up on baking, preserves, deli, plants, knitting & crafts for yourself or early Christmas presents.  Gramma’s Attic will return again by popular request with interesting gently used items.  Event sponsored by Mount Carmel-Zion United Church.  See you there!

Mark your calendar for the 5th Annual Breakfast with Santa - Saturday November 23rd - 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Puslinch Community Centre hosted by Mount Carmel Zion United Church and Car-Store Automotive.
