Orange Shirt Sunday

Wearing an orange shirt on Sunday, September 30 was to remember those children and communities dramatically affected by the Indian Residential Schools System.

Orange Shirt Day is inspired by Phyllis Jack Webstad who, on her first day at residential school in 1973, was stripped of her new orange shirt.
