Time has come to speak to the hearts of our Nations and their Leaders. I ask you this from the bottom of my heart, to come together from the Spirit of your Nations in prayer.

Dear friends in Christ,

Celebratory 85th anniversary greetings are pouring in this week. I type this from the General Synod of The Anglican Church of Canada where they have just prayed for The United Church of Canada on our anniversary. We bring Christian hope to one another.

Following is another of the hope-filled messages I've received, including an invitation to consider an expression of care for God's world.

Celebrations of the church’s 85th anniversary will be happening across the church this month. Here are two church-wide events in which you may be interested and able to participate – from your own home or church!

1. Watch live greetings from the General Council Office’s 85th Anniversary Open House (Thursday, June 10th, 3:00PM Eastern Time)

If you are unable to join us in person at the General Council Office this Thursday, you can still connect with the celebrations which will be happening here and in other locations across the country:

Our Perennial Plant and Bake Sale was a terrrific success!  Thank you to all the gardeners, bakers, and buyers!  We came very close to meeting our objective and we could not have done it without your tremendous commitment to the Love Thy Neighbour Project.

We look forward to fulfill the next phase of the project - Our Global Commitment.  We will continue to need everybody's continued support to the Love Thy Neighbour Project.  With your help, we will be able to meet our objective.

Chalmers West Volunteer Needed! A registration volunteer is needed at Chalmers Community Services Centre's West End location on Thursday mornings from 9am to 12pm. Someone who has excellent administrative and interpersonal skills would be the ideal candidate. Time commitment would be once or twice per month from June to the end of September.
