We are looking at re-inventing the Youth Group here at Mount Carmel-Zion United Church. We want to hear from you, the youth, as to what you want in your Youth Group. To start, we are inviting youth in grades 5 and older and their parents for a movie afternoon on April 10th at 2pm at Mount Carmel-Zion United Church to watch "Sherlock Holmes". You do not need to be a member of Mount Carmel-Zion United Church, just a youth looking to get together with others your age. Come and join us to re-invent the Youth Group.
On Sunday April 11, from 3:00 to 5:00PM, Harcourt’s Adult Christian Faith Formation group, in conjunction with the Guelph Seminar, will host Dr. Peter Emberley in a lecture tentatively titled “The Religious Search in an Uncertain World.”

Tips and Tools for Beginning Storytellers

Experience and explore the world of folktales and legends with an accent on the natural/environmental world. Participants will learn tips for choosing, preparing and presenting tales to entertain, educate, warn, comfort and heal. Please bring a lunch.
